Outpatient Mental Health ServicesOutpatient Services
Outpatient mental health treatment is offered to Johnson County residents of all ages at the Mission and Olathe office locations. Individual, group and family counseling are available.

People seek counseling for many different reasons. Some of the most common reasons include problems of anxiety, stress, depression or anger; difficulty in a relationship with a spouse, parent or child; life changes such as death of a family member or divorce; and issues related to parenting. Our highly qualified staff assists clients in developing a treatment plan to meet their specific mental health needs.

Referrals for additional services offered by other programs within the Mental Health Center and community are also available. The focus is on short-term intervention to resolve difficulties.

Outpatient Psychiatric Services
Outpatient psychiatric services are provided by a team of Psychiatrists, Advanced Practice Registered Nurses (APRN’s) and Nurses to those persons already receiving other mental health center services who also require medication and other medical support as part of their treatment. Individuals may be referred for these services after an initial assessment by their primary treatment provider.
