If I come for mental health treatment who would I see?
When you first call, we conduct an initial consultation by phone. Based on our conversation, we will recommend one of our staff whose expertise is most helpful for your particular concern.

How much will it cost me?
We offer a sliding fee scale for Johnson County residents. Before your first appointment we will determine your fee based on household income, family size, and financial obligations. Asking Questions

Will my insurance cover the cost of counseling?
Your health insurance may cover a portion of our services. Prior to your first appointment we will let you know what your particular insurance may cover.

What hours are you open?
We are open during regular business hours. Operating hours vary at each of our locations.

What happens if someone I know has a mental health emergency during other times?
Crisis services are available 24 hours a day. Nighttime, weekend and holidays emergency services are available by calling 913-268-0156.

How long will I have to come in for treatment?
While treatment times may vary for each individual, after your first appointment your mental health professional can provide you with an estimate of the time required to address your particular concerns.

Will I have to take medication?
Our staff will advise you as to what types of treatment or services may be helpful to you. You can choose to decline any treatment including medication.
