Management Team
Day to day operations of the Mental Health Center are overseen by a five member Management Team comprised of the Executive Director and the Directors of the Centers four Divisions: Operations, Clinical Services, Medical Services and Community Support Services.

Maureen Womack, Executive Director
As Chief Executive Officer of the Mental Health Center and its Governing Board, the Executive Director plans, directs, and oversees the comprehensive mental health services provided to county residents.

Craig Schornheuser, Director - Operations
The Director of Operations provides oversight and management of all essential support services for Johnson County Mental Health Center including Financial Services, Information Technology, Facilities, and Office Support.

Jane Lauchland, M.D., Director - Medical Services
The Medical Director serves as chief medical officer for the Mental Health Center, and is responsible for all the psychiatric care and treatment provided within the Mental Health Center, and for supervising all medical, nursing, and psychiatric resident/nursing student staff. The Medical Director has final authority over all diagnostic and treatment decisions made by the Mental Health Center's psychiatric and nursing staff.

Tim DeWeese, LMSW, Director - Community Support Services
The Community Support Services (CSS) Director provides administrative, clinical and programmatic oversight of a comprehensive array of community based psychiatric rehabilitative services for adults with a severe and persistent mental illness. The CSS Division Director also provides administrative, clinical and programmatic oversight of the Mental Health Center’s 24 hour emergency service system, including the Center’s mobile crisis response team and the after-hours emergency call center.
